First order of business for F.O.U.R. should be to have a conference as soon as possible to get the membership all on the same page. Other suggestions may be to raise the dues from $9.00 to $12.00. It would not hurt because we will receive three raise increases. We then can BUILD OUR STRIKE FUND. Five years will be a good chunk of change. Another change that needs to take place is updating our constitution and bylaws. Terms of holding office, process of mail-in ballots, and new staff being able to run for office just to name a few.
Also, this is vital, WE NEED TO START PULLING STAFF OUT ON UNION LEAVE AND BUILD OUR OWN ORGANIZING DEPARTMENT. Time to get some of these great organizers on the F.O.U.R. payroll.
And last but not least, at the next negotiations we should have all the joint board contracts expire on the same day as the international contract. Yes we may have lost this battle but the war is not over. True union men and women never stop fighting!

F.O.U.R. is not a real union. Is that the best message you can come up with? I feel real sorry for the workers out there who are getting direction from you. At least we are out here addressing real issues and coming up with solutions. Not saying it is the only way or our way is right but we are doing something to improve our union. Again put the Pom Pom's down, get off the sidelines and do something besides being negative. If you don't want to be in F.O.U.R. then apply for a job outside the unit. You can not because your skills aren't shit and UniteHere is done with your lame ass. No promotion for you.You got played and you still haven't figured it out yet. GOD, you really are stupid!

Do we really want to find out where UNITE HERE will be if FOUR no longer exists?

Lost? FOUR is still around, has five years to grow and organize for the next contract, you all are still in FOUR, a wide majority of the membership voted yes on the contract. Yes it's not all we wanted but we live to fight another day, and i can't think of one thing you Yalie's did to subvert the process, ahh reality is a terrible thing to waste

You know whats funny is that the "banned persons" list that the PRB just released didn't have one person from the UNITE side, it's a long list of former HERE union bosses, many in the recent past. Maybe if HERE had a staff union rather than a staff beholdant to union bosses this wouldn't have happened.

Just because you weren't decertified doesn't mean you won.
Most of us that fought the outrageous behavior of FOUR didn't want a decert, we just wanted you to shut the heck up and act like decent members of the union family.
This blog was the lowest thing I have ever seen in all my years in the union. You all should be ashamed, fired, and blackballed from any other union service.

Local 226 will be ratifying its contract shortly. Another non-FOUR union within UNITE HERE, that means more staff is outside of FOUR than is it in.
